2007 Trip to Ethiopa

Photo (above) BUS ARRIVING WITH OVERSEES TRAVELERS TO SEE SPONSORED CHILDREN	2007 TRIP TO ETHIOPA Covenant believes the concerted effort of many individual and groups and professional is needed to bring change in the country of Ethiopia.Thus we are planning to take many individuals to the country to help in the rebuilding process in their recpective field. This year in 2007, fifteen Canadians from Calgary and locals in various profession went with our executive directors and toured the area and saw the children in their school. They have reported that covenant are doing an impressive work with their development work and have pledged that they will partner with us.

	In this trip we have approached Rehma Centre which is a mega church with 40,000 members in Johannesburg with a vision for many humanitarian projects both in S.A and in most African Countries. After hearing our vision they have committed to partner with us in our project of sponsorship program. We have also visited the campus of Rema Centre with Rev. Hermy Damons. In the same time Covenant executive traveled to South Africa and met with the Ethiopian church communities to be partner with this project and received a very promising hope.
